More Tea for the Queen

Ladies, I  haven't had many entries in this challenge and I thought that this was a good theme.  Look at the pieces of inspiration below and submit your entry.  You still have a week.  Also, whenever you can't find the current challenge,  just go to the top of my sidebar and click on it and you will be taken directly to the current challenge.

Remember, this challenge is being sponsored by Pollycraft and the site has some great images which you can use for this challenge and for future challenges.  She is also offering a very nice prize to the random generated winner.  No matter how long you have been stamping; whether you are a beginner or advance,  you have equal chance to win.

For my card you have to use your imagination....I have the invitation above from the Queen to have tea and.....she left her calling CARD!  Notice she is the lowest queen there is.  For all of us who play cards the ranking is clubs, dimonds, hearts and then spades as top.  Therefore I had tea with the lowest queen.

That's enough of my storytelling.  I will have to do better next time.  I used a piece of red cardstock for my base.  On top of that is a mat of designer paper with dots.  On top of that is a piece of caardstock on which I stamped some text.  Then there is another layer of red caardstock with the image adhered to that.  The cup image is from  Hampton Arts.  The playing card is a mini and of courser, I chose the queen.  I wanted to give the card a little  touch of lace so I taped lace around the playing card.  I chose not to have a sentiment on the front.

This week I have made an ATC using images from a fantastic Collage Sheet from the "Art Tea Life" Etsy Store. I just love these "Jane Austen" style images and the "Art Frivoli Tea" wording!!

Hi everybody, Valerie here and here's my DT piece for *Tea Time with the Queen*
The Royal crest has been cut out of an old book-cover that was torn, and the queen cut out of a prospect. The teacup is from the Graphics Fairy. I rolled it round a glue tube and then just stuck down the edges to make it dimensional. The tea-bag has been cut from a paper scrap, and the thread was taken from a real tea-bag! I wonder what the Queen would say to this? Probably, *We are not amused*.... You still have a week to enter the challenge if you would like to do so! Have a great week you all, take care, and thanks for visiting!

Teatime Invitation
You are invited to a tea party with tea and cakes by Celeste Amberglow from Pollycraft. The image is coloured with Copics and added to a little card cut with Nestabilities shapes. The sentiment is stamped with Elzybells stamps and the card is finished with some Mulberry flowers and some little pearls.
