Drunken Stampers Challenge #121

The Drunken Stampers' challenge this week is "Mr and Mrs Smith" which is a spy s theme.  My card this time is a little different.  I had absolutely nothing with a spy theme.  Therefore, I made a card which I call Eye Spy, an eye looking at the mystery or crime through camouflage background.  This is one of my favorite techniques.  The eye stamp is byStampabilities.  I decided against coloring the eye as I wanted it to have that mysterious appearance.
Don't forget to go over to Drunken Stampers to see all the works of inspiration by the Design Team and to take part in the challenge.

"Let's Dance" Some More

The Cheerful Stamp Pad is continuing with the challenge "Let's Dance.   Scroll down to the post announcing the challenge and enter your creation.  The Design Team would love for you to enter.

Vicki

This is my inspirational piece for this week for the Let's Dance challenge which is being sponsored by A Da;y for Daises.  I used the ballet shoes and embellished   my card with a border punch and stones.  If you haven't joined in, scroll down to the challenge announcement below and enter.

Krisha

Such a beautiful image, this time paired up with a couple other stamp companies to make this card. A rhinestone and glitter were the finishing embellishments. Shoes from Stubby Stampers, Music sheet is from Stamp Out Cute.

Michele

I colored these ballet slippers from A Day for Daisies with pencils and layered them with various elements from my stash. Though I never studied ballet myself, I love studying different forms of dance.  The dance images from this company are truly endearing.

Petra

Those ballett shoes are another gorgeous image from our sponsor. They remind me so very much of my daughter and her ballett lessons! The background for the image are digital papers. Shoes, leaves and rose are coloured with Copics and paper pieced to give it a bit more depth. Lace, pearls, heart and a die-cut ballerina are the finishing touches.

I used dramatic colours to portray the moment when the curtains open, the music starts to play and the first steps are made on the dance floor. I hope my card inspires you to join in the challenge!

Sharon

I've used this gorgeous ballerina image again to make a "row" of dancing girls along with patterned paper from Fringe Arts at Etsy - couldn't resist using the same colour scheme as last week! Card layout is from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Add your creation at the original challenge post here.

Bunnies and Chicks

"Bunnies and Chicks" is the theme for Just Some Lines' challenge for the next two weeks.  This is my all-time favorite image from Just Some LinesIsn't this the cutest little rabbit?  I just love his ears. He has a bouquet of flowers and he stands in the middle of Easter eggs.  For my background I did just a little color blocking on designer paper of eggs.

Winners of Challenges #55 and 56

Winners of challenges 55 and 56 will be announced the first week of April as I am out of town.  Thanks to Michele Storms, one of my Design Team members, for assisting with my posts and keeping my challenges going.  As usual, I will be contacting you on my return if the random generator picked your entry.
Vicki.

Challenge #56 -"Let's Dance"

Our new theme for challenge #56 is "Let's Dance."  Let's have fun with creations on the theme of "dance."

Vicki
My card for A Day for Daisies uses some toe shoes.  These are like the ones I use to wear when I was a dancer many years ago....If only we could go back in time.  I put the theme on the card as my sentiment along with a little flourish and accented the image AdayforDaiseswith a ribbon and a bow.

Krisha

Wonderful image from A Day for Daises! I printed her out in four sizes to make a group of dancers.
They are mounted on a scrap of music background and then onto an ATC.

 Michele

I used the Magical Dancer Bust from A Day for Daisies. I've colored her with pencils, then mounted her on some different designer papers and added coordinating flowers.

I printed a whole row of the sweet Magical Bloom Dancer, generously supplied by our fabulous sponsor,  A Day for Daisies. The strip was rubbed with pink chalk.  A layer of pearl paper, as well as a layer of pink inked paper was added. My current favourite, pink rhinestones adds a final touch of glamour. It reminds me of little girls rehearsing for a ballet concert. So let's dance and get those lovely creations entered in the challenge. Oh, and do visit A day for Daisies for some more dancing images!

Petra

How darling are these little girls? Dancing and enjoying themselves thoroughly ..... this wonderful digital image is from our sponsor A Day for Daisies. I coloured the image using Copics and distress inks. It is layered on inked card and a stamped background. The card is embellished with ribbon, wooden heart and some pearls.

Sharon

I loved making this pink & black card using a gorgeous little dancer image from our sponsor. Patterned papers are from "Fringe Art" Etsy Store and were just perfect for my ballet themed card. I used a tiny piece of the patterned paper to add a "tutu" to the little square charm to finish off my card.

Still "Enchanted"

We are still in the "Land of Enchantment"  Isn't this a fun challenge?  Scroll down to the challenge announcement and post your entry.  The Design Team is having fun with this one being sponsored by A and T Designs.
Vicki
This is my card of inspiration for the second week of the "Land of Enchantment" challenge. I couldn't resist making a card with this cute image from A and T Digitals Designs.. I colored her with Copic markers and made the card very plain to make the image pop.

Krisha
I chose this cute little fairy, cause she made me smile. She is colored with markers then cut out.

Michele
I combined two different digis from A and T Designs for this card, a sweet little fairy and also the blossoms.  I colored the digis with pencils and carefully cut the flowers to drape them around the fairy image.  I had some great "forest" feeling decorator paper for a background and I stamped the word "dream."  I love this fantasy challenge!
Sharon
I've made a journal page for this weeks inspiration!! The cute little Egyptian themed image is from Angie Delarie Scrapbooking. I've always been fascinated by Egypt and the Pyramids so for me this is an "enchanting land"!!!

My tag displays the cute fairy hanging onto her pollen! I used neon wax crayons to create a background on the manila tag. Pencils was used to colour the fairy which I then fussy cut. Some silver flakes add some 'pollen' and some glitter finishes my tag. Thanks A & T Digital Designs for the cute fairy!

Seasonal Fun

"Seasonal Fun" is the theme of one of the challenges at Crafter's Digital Art Center (CDAC).  It is open until the end of the month so you might want to enter.  My card reflects the  weather in Tennessee.  The grass is beginning to grow and all the small animals are beginning to come out like this little turtle.  You have to look closely in the grass as he is trying to stay protected as he ventures out.
My little turtle, who is dressed in its Easter finerly is from Pricilla's Styles.  He is colored with Copic markers and the sentiment was cut from a old birthday card.  The butterfly following the turtle is a sticker.

Challenge #55- "Land of Enchantment"

This theme for this challenge deals with faries, land of make-believe, and dragons.  Make sure you do not enter anything that is "real".  Here are a couple of ideas from the Design Team.
Vicki
For some reason my card is showing up in blue-grey, while actually it is different shades of brown for a woody effect.  I guess it was the lighting.

Krisha
I chose this little fairy sitting on the mushroom to do some paper piecing, then mounted him on a scrap of Thomas Kinkade paper.

Michele
This fairy on a mushroom is a popular digi!  I colored mine with pencils and layered it on designer paper, adding a butterfly and dragonfly for interest.  Fantasy images are a favorite for me and I think also for many crafters.  Which makes this challenge an especially delightful one!

Sharon
I've made a tag with this happy fairy from "A & T Digital Designs". Background was made with some new Dylusions sprays I bought recently - love the vibrant colours! I stamped some little words onto the background. The fairy has been coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut.

The way the sun falls on flowers, the time of day, can change the way you see the colours and creates a dreamy world  where faeries play. I printed on papers that I've painted with inks. 3 flowers were cut out from a second print and added. 3 rhinestones and some glitter pen adds some sparkle to my card.
I am looking forward to see all your enchanting creations!

I am so pleased to announce my sponsor for this challenge is A and T Digital Designs.,  A visit to their site will reveal some great digis usable on every type card.   Anita at A and T Digital Designs is graciously offering 2 images to the winner

Drunken Stampers' Challenge #117

This week the challenge at Drunken Stampers is "The Sound of Music" .  This time I made a tag.  Stamps  used were by Stamp Cabana and CE  The main image is a digital from Gecko Galz.  She is just tap dancing over a row of trim made with a Cheery Lynn die. I love her custome and her top hat.  It reminds me of my dfancing days.....oh to bring them back!

Reminder for Just Some Lines Challenge

This is just a little reminder that Just Some Lines is having a challenge with the theme "Tag".  So easy to enter. Do drop over and put in an entry.  Here is my little inspiration using one of the cupcake images which I colored with Copic markers..

I am also entering this in CDAC's "Anything Goes" challenge.

Easy as 1,2,3

"Easy as 1,2,3" is the name of one of the challenges at Crafters Digital Art Center (CDAC). The only requirement of this challenge is that you include 1-a flower, 2-designer paper, and 3-blng. With this card I included all three. The bling is a little hard to see but I used Stickels on some of the flowers on the bike.  The lovely vintage bike is from PriscillaStyles
