Lunagirl Moonbeams is having a "Goddess" challenge.  The Design Team has posted a number of creations for you to enjoy.. I invite you to come over and join us.  Here is card I submitted.
This time I combined a vintage image with modern flowers cascading down the side.  I am not sure it worked, but it is a little on the different side as part of  the front of the card has been removed.

Second Week of "Black and White"

This is the second week of my Challenge #80 "Color: Black and White" theme.  There have been a number of great entries so far.  Don't forget everyone has a chance as the winner is chosen by the random generator.  Here are some more black and white creations by the Design Team.
Vicki
This card has a story behind it.  I am out of town camping in our motorhome and knew I had a black and white challenge running.  However, I forgot to bring anything black except I happen to have some back acrylic paint with me.  I also had my Gelli Plate so I made my own black and white paper for this card and of course used a Bugaboo image.  I placed my card on an aqua background of cardstock so the white card can be seen.
Hazel
The image is 'Santa's reindeer globe' by our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps. The background card is from an old Kanban kit - unfortunately, silver foiling is always hard to show on a photo - there is also some silver on the die cut bauble that doesn't show here. The black, white and silver pieces of ribbon are scraps that were waiting to be used somewhere.

Petra
This card turned out to be all a bit 'doodly;, I think working well with the fabulous doodle flower from Bugaboo. the image is framed with a black card postage stamp frame and layered on stamped background. A bow, a little stamped sentiment and two little half-pearls adorn the card.
Karla
For the second week of Color Inspired – Black and White/ Challenge 2, I used a cute Flower Girl from our sponsor Bugaboo. The image was framed with a decorative round vintage frame and layered on an embossed background. I also added a black floral fabric stripe and a white patterned paper underneath the stamp. A little flower and a little bow adorn the sentiment.

Michele
For my week two creation I made an ATC using a photo real stamp of Duke Ellington by Stampsmith.  The sheet music in the background is one of his famous songs -- "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got That Swing!"  Working with just black and white leads to some pretty striking creations and it is great seeing the projects you are all entering.  Keep them coming!
Barbara
For week two of the Black and White challenge I used a different Bugaboo image. I coloured the flowers and some leaves with a white spica glitter pen and the black leaves with a black spica glitter pen.  The background paper is from a Black and White Bo Bunny enchanted collection pad. Ribbon from my stash.

Self-Potrait? Not Sure!

This is a journal page I recently posted on Facebook.  The background was created with the Gelli Plate and acrylic paint.  Numerous stencils were used for the background.  The face was created with a StencilGirl stencil.

Challenge:#80 "Color Challenge-Black and White"

I am so pleased with all the entries I received from everyone for the past challenge.  I hope everyone enjoyed making projects with the Valentine / Love theme.  I thought I would do something a little different this time.

Let's do a "Color Challenge-Black and White"  I always have to do one of these each year as this is my favorite color combination.  I know what everyone will want to know....can it have any other color?  The answer is only if it is a touch of color.  However, we really would like to see only black and white.....you can do it!    The Design Team has made a few pieces for inspiration.

 Vicki
I used  one of my sponsor's images, Bugaboo's pig with ice cream cones.  I thought it would be perfect for a birthday card.  The actual card is on a black base and the white portion opens up.  The front was embossed with small dots and a border which was made with a punch was placed on the edge  The sentiment is hanging on the folded edge of the front of the card.  The image was put on a circle of white cardstock which was edged in ink so it would show up.  It is also on dimensional dots to make it pop up.  The sentiment was made with stickers.  When the card is opened the remainder of the image is revealed.
Michele
I love this elephant silhouette digital stamp from our sponsor Bugaboo, especially the rich patterning in the elephant which makes it an ideal centerpiece for the black and white challenge.  I used some complementary designer paper which is actually in dark grey and white placed it on black card stock, and finished the piece with the vintage monogram letter "E."  The end result feels like sort of a sophisticated children's alphabet card..
Petra
I love both black and white. The colours always look so fresh and sharp. For my card I used a digital stamp from this week's sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I combined he image with black card, a stamped background, ribbon and a couple of stamped butterflies.
Karla
Black and white are elegant colors in my opinion. They match perfectly. Since I like mixing patterns, I decided to use polka dot and stripes to create my card. The digital stamp you see is from our sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamps. To add an extra flavour I use a black and white polka dot ribbon and a lovely flower.I was thinking about a saying for my card but I am going to leave that for your imagination.
 Hazel
The image is 'reindeer silhouette' by our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, matted on to black card. The background reindeer card is from an old Kanban kit. The card was finished off with a piece of stitched ribbon, some punched snowflakes and a rub on sentiment.
Barbara
Week 1 of the Challenge I used a Bugaboo image I had on hand, I coloured it with my bic marker and covered all the black with my black spica glitter pen. Cut with large circle spellbinder dies added the ribbon, flowers and black & white buttons.all from my stash. I put clear oval rhinestones for some bling. Black & White is one of my favourite things to do but I really struggled with this one,but I like the finished product.

Banner Card

Here is a quick banner sick card I made.  It was very simple to create as I just made small banners out of cardstock, cute them different lengths and added the Our Daily Bread Designs sentiment.  Since it is almost Valentine, I added two little hearts.

Second Week of "Love / Valentine"

I have really had some great entries this time for the challenge.  If you haven't joined in, the Design Team would love for you to.  Don't forget you may enter twice per challenge.  The DT has some more pieces of inspiration for you.
Vicki
My sponsor Stitchy Bear Outline carries images from a number of designer.  This image called Balloon Boy is by BB Kates.  I think he is so cute.  I put him on a multi-layered background and added some hearts.  The image was colored with Copics.  This little card is ready to give some love.

Michele
As we continue to celebrate the love holiday, this week I've used a digital image from our sponsor by BB Kakes called "cutesy cupid."   I colored it with promarkers and used coordinating designer paper and lots of wonderful hearts.  Cupid is both cute and sly and i think someone is about to be struck with a whole lotta love!  I hope you'll join our challenge -- what a great way to get more Valentine creations done!
Barbara
For the second week of the Love / Valentine challenge I used this cute fairy Flora Fae from Stitchy Bear. I wanted to use the Floral Frames from Stampin'up so I made a 5 1/4 square card. she was coloured with my alcohol markers and the wings were sparkled up. Because of the size I used the larger dot embossing folder and the sentiment was computer generated.
 Karla
Hello everyone! Hope you are well. For the second week of the challenge, I decided to use the image from our sponsor Stitchy Bear : it is our lovely “Flirty Frog” by Pookie Designs. I colored it digitally. The background is made of fabric as well as the hearts behind our frog. This is going to be for my daughter’s boyfriend.
Petra
Who can resist this adorable Flora Fae from our sponsor Stitchy Bear-Gingerloft. She is so sweet ..... her little wings are cut with vellum and she sits on heart-patterend paper from Papermania.

I covered a red card blank with lots of different washi tape strips, such from Paperchase and some Tim Holtz tissue tape, added some Craftime flowers and the love Stitchy Bear BB Kakes Balloon Boy 1, coloured with copics, addiing the I LUV U.

One Day Left for Lunagirl's Tea Party

Lunagirl's Tea  Party challenge ends tomorrow, but I have one more inspirational card for the theme.
I offset the Lunagirl image with a diecut.  The card has a beautiful background which I printed out.  The little roses on placed on a green diecut making the leaves.

Tea Party

cLunagirl Moonbeams is having a Tea Party and you are invited to join with  your entry.  Drop by and see the various creations by the Design Team.  My latest piece of inspiration is here.

I made it a little on the romantic side with the couple in the image and the music in the background.   A ribbon and flower with a stone along with a feather that some little bird lost in the yard completes the card.

Challenge #79-"Love / Valentine"

I think everyone will like the newest challenge.  The theme is "Love / Valentine".  The Design Team has prepared some cards to give you a few ideas.  After checking them out, create something with the theme and enter below.
Vicki
I created a card using one of the digis on Stitchy Bear Outlet.  This particular image is called Flirty Frog by Pookie Designs which is in the Stitchy Bear Outlet store.  I think he is so cute with his big bow.  I placed him sitting on border of rings and place a heart on the mirror sticker in the corner.  In the bottom corner is the sentiment.
Hazel
I used lots of elements from the BBKakes - Holiday bundle - Valentine 1 kindly supplied by the sponsor, Stitchy Bear Stamps, arranging them digitally, printing and colouring with spectrum noir alcohol pens, adding some gems and mounting on to a red card blank.
Karla
(My newest DT member)
Love is in the air... Valentine’s Day is on the corner. So let’s celebrate it!  The digital images you see in my card are from our sponsor  BBC Kakes. I colored them digitally and created the background paper ( the one with pink hearts). I also added some embellishment. Valentine’s Day where I live is on June 12th but who can resist this charming holiday? After all, love is still the answer.
Michele
We are celebrating love just in time for my favorite holiday, Valentine's Day!  The digital image featured here is from our sponsor Stitchy Bear and it is "Flirty Frog" by Pookie Designs.  I colored the frog with pro markers and then played with designer paper, ric rac, a heart doily and additional goodies to make this little Valentine Card.
Barbara
For the first week of the challenge I chose Balloon Boy, I coloured with my spectrun noir and copics, I decided to fussy cut him out and pop him up on a set of hearts, that are also popped up on the white heart. "Hi There" is a Cuttlebug die cut plate and the buttons are from the button jar. (well one of them lol).  I made a 5 inch square card.  I think this is going to be for my great-grandson for Valentines.

Petra
So many adorable images to choose from from our sponsor Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet. This is the little very cute Valentine Lady . I printed her, cut her out and coloured her with Copics. I layered the image on lots of layeres of patterned paper and added a little half-pearl and some papery flowers to the card.

I am so pleased to have Stitchy Bear Outlet as my sponsor this time.  They have digital from a number of artists.   A visit to the site is a must as it is impossible to name the many designer they have featured.
